How the west strayed part 2a

I concluded in part 1 that we are currently in the dark ages. Different but similar to the old one. The church is now the church of Capitalism and the priests who misguide the masses is the tv and newspapers. The aim being to keep those who are really in power, in power. And these people are not the political leaders such presidents and prime ministers but those who place them in their posts. And think it is us who voted them in. But actually they where voted in before we voted. Those in power allowed them to become viable candidates from which the masses could choose anyone and would make no difference to those who really rule. Our leaders become admin men for them. And they rule silently. Plot and plan silently. Letting the admin dudes make the noise. So effectively we become trapped. Trapped into their world. And we receive conditioning make us remain 'happy'. Not encouraged to question or challenge the status quo. And the label 'conspiracy theorist' used generously to marginalize any noisy trouble makers. Who question. And are not happy with what's going on.

What i have described so far is nothing very new. If you have watched films like the matrix you could see such concepts presented although some what hidden from clear view. And if you have been enquisitve on social media you may have seen this in many places eg Russell Brands Trews channel on YouTube etc. Prof Noam Chomsky and many others too.

So where things stand at the moment then? I think the main problem is that there is no consensus about the alternative to the Capitalism church. People mainly know communism and socialist type thinking as the main challengers. But there isn't major interest or uptake on this. Some may say it's just a matter of time for these ideas to come back into fashion. Others may say something new is required. Or that some major changes needed liken insertion of spiritual teaching.
