Why are senior businessmen amongst the last to wake up?

This is a theory I'm currently developing so your feedback is welcome and I may change it significantly in future.
What I mean by wake up is not the early morning rise but to awake to what is happening on the planet. The big global , new world order conspiracy that many are very happy to deny.
But why is it that businessmen are amongst the first to deny or dismiss it? How come many appear not to have an open mind regarding it? What is it about the business mindset that acts as a good filter to such things. This is the topic of this article and it comes about based on my experience in observing businesses over the last 10 years or so. I have been through many different work environments doing short term contracts.
So the answer that comes to me is that it's connected with schooling and education. i.e. How we have been educated. You see the education system instead of actually educating us regarding what life is and what meanings one can apply to it, has instead decided to just throw heavy books at us on detail intensive topics e.g. Biology, Physics, Maths etc. Plenty of data and detail so that we no longer really care about meaning to life and we just want to memorise a paragraph on page 265 about how a leaf does respiration. So our focus has gotten hijacked and our track diverted. We have become data memorisers.
Once this schism with reality has taken place we are then directed into more data memorising during A level and then we are told we need to do even more at Uni so that we can get a job. As to meaning of our life , well you can kiss that goodbye. The meaning question has been successfully vaporised from existence. And so we have become educated. And what that means is that we are now able to work 9-5 5 days a week and repeat this almost till we die. In the weekends we can do our chores and maybe visit a park. And Friday is the alcohol day and dancing for some. And we just repeat this.
Obviously this is very enjoyable. And we look forward to returning on Monday: the best day of our lives. I realize that so far I haven't come to businessmen yet. Just the normal white collar chaps.
With senior businessmen they have been taught to see life slightly differently I think. To be more ambitious and more responsible. And hence they fill the managerial levels. So on top of the enjoyable Mondays these people have the task of managing everything and making sure everything works well. They have to be responsible and so on. So who then is going to have more time in their life to investigate life? Not them. They are busy planning ahead for their companies and coping with uncertainties in the current framework of life. The framework we have all been presented with. i.e. We are here to work hard and play hard and then down under we go. No meaning , just use up your energy and then exit. But you would have some enjoyment though. Excellent.
So these senior levels have their minds occupied with enacting the framework. And this framework is about human energy utilisation and not to do with meaning of things. So their mind is already preset to filter out things like life's meaning and focus on managing business. I hope now one can understand why they are among the last to awake. What does awakening require? An open and unprogrammed mind, in my opinion. Whereas these people now have a habituated mind. It's almost autopilot. Everything is on repeat. How can they break these habits? They have become part of them. Maybe even part of their identity. I am a manager (= I am on auto repeat).
So now the question : would a manager want their attention diverted by talk of there being a global conspiracy ? How would they enact their management skills if there was one? How would they fit in it? They don't. A global conspiracy means they have been kept in the dark and someone has been using them. And using them to manage their interests without them realising. While those drawing the conspiracies would have been having a different life with a completely different focus. Eg world domination, increasing wealth at astronomical levels and so on. As well as buying countries and so on. How can a manager mentality take this on. They can't i believe. It's such a highly fantastic concept for them to take. That there is an elite set of people who are busy screwing up the planet. Whilst they have been busy trying to ensure everything is being well managed. How can that fit ? It cannot in their view. So denial is the easy road for them. And as a result they will continue doing their day job. Micro managing. And then exiting when nature calls them.
I've always thought there is something peculiar about the business mindset and how a real/ naturally nurtured human mind are. The natural one is open and curious about the universe it finds itself in while the other has shut off all doors and windows and is using a tiny torch to see 1 centimetre ahead of it. But thinking that it can see so much. So the business mind seems to be severely limited in sight. While the natural one is ever expansive and is in thirst for more awareness. So the judgment on the current business mind is that it is more or less blind. Hardly seeing, yet it does see. While the non business natural mind (eg those who have been living amongst nature for decades) are far far better sighted. They see the stars. While business people see the carpets. And this may explain why so few notice the chemtrail sprays that line out our skies these days. They are too busy looking down and focussing on the mundane.
