What is happening with the Muslims and freedom of speech ?

Point 1:

It is true there are some muslims who think that if someone curses their prophet that he should be killed. And some may even think that beheading maybe ok, despite us being in this modern time where such behaviour is completely reviled. So what’s going on with Muslims and Islam ? Is it really a barbaric religion with barbaric adherents or what ? Maybe what the media is telling us is true. Maybe the demonisation is justified.

My answer is the following: I believe there are problems in the mindsets of some muslims. And I think this has come from the hijacking of true Islam by the ruling class. They wanted islam to be used as a means of sustaining their illegitimate rule ( after they usurped it) rather than to be a means for developing the human mind and freeing humanity from illegitimate control. So the intellectual freeing power of true Islam was cancelled out and muslims were turned into sheep. They accepted what the government controlled priests ( aka fake sheikhs) would tell them and wouldn’t check if they had been lied to. Much like how some people think whatever the TV says is true eg when they watch the news. And that conspiracies can’t exist. And obviously, anyone protesting the situation would be mocked or worse. So the Priest is equivalent to today’s TV generally speaking. As a result false information got fed to the Muslims at that time by the government priests ( eg to ensure people wouldn’t start thinking for themselves as well as instilling fear of disobedience to the laws and edicts). This made islam more about fear than about love and intellectual exploration in search of the truth. So the result was a corrupted Islam that today exists. And this may well be true of all the religions that we see today. Corrupted versions of the original. 

From this corruption we get things like killing someone just because they insult the prophet becoming acceptable, as well as other such inhumane beliefs. Despite in the Quran it clearly says the opposite , eg that the prophet was sent as a mercy to mankind. And that we should turn away from those who are ignorant and vulgar, as well as pray for them. These core teachings got forgotten and got replaced with vulgar ones that don’t come from the Quran. They instead were made up as texts that would be attributed to the prophet peace be upon him (pbuh). 

This way the people would be fooled and focus diverted away from the Quran ( which they cannot change). 

So now if we understand this situation and we wanted to help the Muslims, as opposed to demonise them, we would try to open up debates with them to show them why some of the beliefs they currently hold may not be right. And we wouldn’t try to inflame them by insulting their prophet so as to illicit the inhumane behaviour.  One would only do that if they had a grudge against them and so wanted to expose some of their inhumane beliefs so as to attract enmity and hatred towards them from the world population. This unfortunately is what is happening I believe. The ruling classes of some countries have decided that this is how they want to behave with muslims. To deliberately expose their shortcomings and have it globally publicised. Presumably to engender global outrage and hatred towards muslims. Why some people would do such a thing I don’t know. It certainly is not humane. So it seems that there is a camp in humanity that wants muslims demonised and hated. And I wouldn’t be surprised if israel  and the zionists are behind this, especially with the big influence they have on many western countries. If you have a better explanation please let me know. The idea in life is to try help a people instead of set them up and expose their weaknesses so as to attract ridicule. But if you are their enemy you may not be thinking about helping them. 

So in the above I hope I have explained what’s going on and what may be behind it all. Basically Israel fighting muslims I think. And muslims taking the bate and falling for it. Thinking they are defending their prophet’s honour when in fact they are doing a big disservice not just to the prophet (pbuh) but also to their religion. At least this is my view of it. Also I think there is some ruling elite who see Islam as a real threat to their power base and so want to destroy any credibility it has so that the world would never look at it. 

Point 2:

Is there anything good that comes out of this for the Muslims or the western people?

I think there is some good that can come out of this. For those westerners who are interested in finding out what is going on they will be able to understand much of the political dynamic that is operating in the west. One may even be tempted to find out about true Islam and why it may be viewed as a real threat to some powerful elite. 

For the muslims there is great benefit too when they realise that some of the teachings they hold are corrupted and may choose to cleanse themselves and obtain a cleaner understanding of Islam than what has been passed to them thus far. I really hope they do that as I feel that what is happening is some minor punishment from our Lord to help awaken us and get us back to true Islam so that we can present the beauty of Islam to the world and not nothing. So our lord is guiding us back to goodness after having left it a long while back. Thus it is a kind of new reformation that we will be undergoing that would re-invent us into new people. An intellectual revolution in our minds too as we would re-visit the fundamentals  and start afresh Allah willing. A new birth for muslims.  A new image of islam. A new generation of muslims. A new light into the world.
