Those who use science to claim something can come from nothing.
The flaw in the argument of those who claim that quantum physics shows that something can come from nothing. They may talk about quantum vacuum and the Casimir effect and other such words.
Basically in my view these words are used to throw people into a trance. A trance that they think will make them believe whatever they say. And they will just keep on saying have you studied this and have you studied that? Trying to throw people away from the obvious flaw in their argument.
What is this obvious flaw ?
When someone says that something has come from nothing, how do they know that it didn’t come from another universe for instance? To actually prove it came from nothing you would have to be able to see ALL of existence and only then you can say that. But can any human see all of existence? Can we even see all of this one universe that we live in ? Even what we see far away is not how it really is now but how it was light years ago. So on what basis can a human say he knows that something came from nothing and not from a place or thing that he or she cannot observe because of the limitations imposed on human beings’ observational faculties ? Eg in order to see something we need something to reflect from it. Light reflects off bodies and we see the reflected light. But what if something exists that nothing reflects off it? Then no matter what we do we may not be able to see it. And what if it doesn’t emit things that we can detect ? How can we detect it ? So how then can we be sure that something that appears in front of us actually came from nothing and not from something that we cannot detect. Or from a place that we cannot detect. The truth is we can’t, I believe. Because we are limited entities. Limited beings. So we cannot make many big claims. We need to realise what our limitations are and not rush into making big claims. We need to claim according to our limits.
But you will always see , I think, people who either don’t want a creator to exist or people who desperately want a creator to exist. And these will happily fool themselves to accepting any argument that helps them reach their aim, even if it has flaws. So other people need to be aware of that and not be fooled by the words they use. Don’t get entranced by them. Just think through their arguments carefully and without rushing. Use your mind , don’t fall for their appearances and outward things.
