The Problem with Some Religious People

1- They believe they definitely have the truth. No doubt. And that doubting this belief is unthinkable. This is a clear sign of stupidity unfortunately. And stems from lack of confidence in their belief I think. For if they were confident they would subject it to any test. But they aren't. So they make out it's unthinkable to doubt it.

2- Most likely, the only reason they are of their particular faith is because their parents were of it too. Or their friends are of it. So it's sort of inherited. This isn't the right way to take religion I believe. Religion is basically thought. To adopt certain thought in a sincere way (i.e. without fooling yourself deliberately ) one has first to be open minded. That means you have to look at all thoughts that exist and do a thorough compare and contrast with ALL before deciding anything. And this process itself may take a long time. Maybe even a very very long time. Not a month or two. Only if you are happy to fool yourself you can do it in two months. Serious believers will need to take around 10 years I think and even then they will not say we are 100% sure. They may say they are 85-95% sure.

3- A good belief for any believer in the creator to have is to say that only the Creator knows the truth 100%. Whereas we humans can only have lower levels of certainty because we are limited in our ability to see. The Creator is unlimited in sight so It can see all. We are limited. And the Creator itself is invisible to humans so how can we say we are precisely 100% sure the creator itself exists? But the more evidence we see the closer to 100 we can become. But never 100% I think. Non believers cannot see the clear evidence that believers can see. This is normal. And I think believers can come as close as 99.9% sure. Maybe even more.

4- Do you (the believer) think God doesn't know if you are a genuine truth seeker or not? Or If you are only following a particular religion because your copying those around you? Ofcourse he knows. So why fool yourself. You will never be able to fool him. Only yourself. So why waste your time pretending when you can spend it trying to be a genuine person? Surely to be seen to be a genuine human by your Creator is much more worthy than have your friends approve of you just because you are copying them. And it's ok to lose those friends if they cannot tolerate you not being like them. I genuinely believe that. It's God pleasure that we should be seeking rather than that of his creatures ( be they humans or otherwise ). So focus on God/Allah/Jehovah etc rather than Its creatures. (Note I use He and It interchangeably for God. As God is not a human being and thus has no gender. Is neither male nor female ).

Conclusion : Dear religious person, you need to think for yourself. Don't let creatures influence how you think or what you think. Make the choices yourself and be aware that God is watching you.
