Is Britain becoming more religious? BBC R4 You and Yours
This is my comment to BBC Radio 4 programme You and Yours regarding religiousness in Britain: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01s8bz0 " Hi , I was involved in religious outreach at grass root levels in market streets etc and I cannot say i have noticed a great increase in religiousness. So my feeling is maybe that the leveling off that you mention has occurred is because unfortunately the mimimum has been reached. I saw people who were very angry with God and would curse him. However I may be wrong. I can see that living material lives will eventually lead to boredom as there is only so much materialism a human can enjoy consistently. The degree of enjoyment is bound to decline due to repititiveness. There will always be a spiritual element missing and this will increase in importance as the material component subsides.
