A new way for humanity to progress Part 1 In the East we have seen humanity curtailed from progress by excessive religious and tradition based impositions that imprison the mind instead of freeing it. In the West, where we think that freedom has been achieved, I have recently found that actually it's under a new religion. Instead of having a church and priests pretending to worship God, we now have a clear instruction to be materialists. That only matter exists and so this must be our life's focus. To avoid the spiritual. The result of materialism is greed. We become individualistic greedy elements in society I believe. Everyone cares only about their selves. A more depressing society. All outward expressions become fake. A major achievement, it is claimed. Some even celebrate it, especially the right wing eg conservatives. Those who worship money and greed.
